The Harlin Museum is excited to be the host for "Journey Stories", the Smithsonian exhibit that is part of their Museum on Main Street program. The mission of the Harlin Museum is to tell the story of the Ozarks through art and history. This exhibit is going to be extremely interesting for its look at America's characteristic habit of constant movement and change. It will also be a visual treat, as the Smithsonian is known for its excellent design of exhibits. The museum, together with the West Plains Council on the Arts, intends to find stories within our local community which will give the exhibit a connection to the Ozarks. We are looking for area residents who will share their "journey stories'. At the museum, look for a video display of local 'jouney stories,' including Marideth Cisco and Toney Aid, among others. The Harlin Museum is honored to be one of only a few museums selected by the Smithsonian to host this unique look at America. For more info, go to http://www.museumonmainstreet.org
